... is a leading expert in quantum technologies, with a focus on quantum transport and superconducting qubits. After his postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley, where he developed innovative superconducting circuit elements, he transitioned into scientific business development. As CEO of YQuantum, he combines his deep technical knowledge with a strategic vision to drive the company’s growth and innovation.
Dr. Johannes Herrmann
Co-Founder, CTO
... has developed extensive expertise in superconducting quantum technology through both academic research and industry experience. During his PhD and Postdoc at ETH Zurich, he specialized in the design and operation of superconducting quantum devices, while also contributing as an RF hardware engineer at Zurich Instruments. At YQuantum, he leads the R&D of cutting-edge solutions in the field of quantum technology.
Prof. Christian Schönenberger

... led the Quantum and Nanoelectronics Group at the University of Basel for nearly 30 years, earning global recognition for his pioneering research on the electrical properties of quantum devices. His recent work has focused on superconducting transmon and semiconducting spin qubits. Dr. Deepankar Sarmah
Research Scientist
... is a specialist in nanofabrication for quantum devices, holding a PhD in Physics from the University of Basel, where he focused on semiconducting spin qubits. In addition, he has expertise in performing low-temperature quantum transport measurements. At YQuantum, he is responsible for developing and fabricating cutting-edge quantum devices, driving innovation in the field.
